We are glad to share with you just who we are and what we are about:
We are a family of believers committed to worshipping and serving Jesus Christ. We do so with great joy! We approach God with a merry heart as we sing the old hymns interspersed with some newer praise songs. Biblically-sound messages stress God's love, His salvation through Christ and His call upon our lives. We are missions-minded and enthusiatically support local, state, North American and International mission efforts.
We cooperate with the Yates Baptist Association, the North Carolina Baptist State Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention. Further, we strongly believe in the autonomy of each church family, and our direction comes from the Lord as our congregation determines.
We affirm the Holy Bible as the inspired and inerrant word of God and have made it the basis for our beliefs. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Christ dismantled barriers and boundaries that separate and alienate people. The Farrington Road family strives to do the same. Thusly, you will find here ministries geared to the various age groups and to people with all sorts of needs. We have a place for everyone to study the Scriptures, to fellowship together, and to minister to others through numerous service opportunities.
